Too often the emphasis is placed on the safety related to an approaching storm and not the safety (and loss of production) related to a storm clearing out. THOR GUARD technology notifies its users IMMEDIATELY when the threat of lightning is gone and does not rely on a time associated with when the last strike occurred in a pre-defined area. Being able to operate when it is safe, and only stop operating when it is dangerous, helps THOR GUARD users to maximize safety and production. In the real NWS radar imagery above, THOR GUARD is the smaller ring, indicating an example of our flexible range settings from .5 to 2.5 miles. Our Competition uses a larger range (larger ring above) because they depend on detecting lightning strikes after they have occured. When a storm is leaving your local area, only THOR GUARD can actually tell you it is safe! |
