Real-Time Lightning Alerts and Weather Control at Your Fingertips
THOR GUARD’s New TG 360 comes with a laptop that runs our new software, ThorServer. ThorServer is a Windows based service software that receives the lightning prediction, lightning detection and weather station data. ThorServer displays and processes the TG360 information sending the necessary information to the Voice for Thor for horn and strobe notifications and also to the web for viewing on ThorMobile, ThorTV and the ThorAlert app.

ThorServer
ThorServer is the control center that processes the lightning prediction and detection data from the TG360. The Force Level and Energy Bars contribute to the Lightning Status Level. THOR GUARD’s own onsite lightning detection technology is also located on the main screen of ThorServer. Various weather values are also shown where the temperature, humidity, dewpoint, wind direction and speed are factored into the evapotransporation rate. Heat Warning Status is formulated by the live, onsite Heat Index or WBGT calculation.
MODES
ThorServer is defaulted in Auto Mode, which means the horns and strobes automatically notify the customer when certain status levels, like Red Alert, are reached. Even if the system is in Auto Mode, the customer can also choose to trigger the horns and strobes manually. And the new TG360 Hybrid mode incorporates our lightning prediction with lightning detection, so you can set whatever time/distance you need.
SETTINGS
For the first time in THOR GUARD’s history, the customer can now choose whether they want the horns and strobes to respond to Caution and Warning if the Secondary Lightning Alerts are active or Heat Warning 1 and Heat Warning 2 if the Secondary Heat Alerts are active. You also have the ability to trigger a Shotgun start and the Voice of Thor Settings Menu is where you can choose what hours of what day(s) you would like your horns and strobes to be active.
GENS
THORMOBILE, THORTV & ThorAlert
Data from ThorServer will be uploaded to the web and displayed on your ThorMobile and ThorTV website every second showing the latest lightning prediction and lightning detection data. The Weather Station data updates every few seconds on the web as well and ThorAlert will notify you of any change to your system.
