The THOR GUARD Model L50 Lightning Prediction
System utilizes the same electrostatic analysis as our full display system,
the THOR GUARD Model L100. For more than 20 years, our exclusive, prediction
technology has proven that it can consistently and unfailingly predict the
probability of a lightning strike for the first time....every time.
THOR GUARD L50 receives and evaluates the storm data from the Hyperstatic
Sensor and then displays the potential threat of lightning by means of
the four lights on the front panel (All Clear, Caution, Warning, Red Alert).
The system has the flexibility to then activate a variety of different
functions such as an external alarm system, or a sensitive equipment disconnection
switching device.
Almost as important as providing advance warning of a lightning hazard,
the THOR GUARD L50 will also determine when safer conditions exist, indicating
that a resumption of outside activity is advisable.
