Dear Thor Guard:
We have used the Weather Team at our Major Championship
events to help us monitor the weather during the entire
week of these events for the past three years.
The weather team uses not only the National weather
information, lightning strike information but also
ThorGuard, which is a state of the art early warning
system that we have found to be an extremely helpful
piece of equipment in identifying possible dangerous
situations ahead of time. This allows us the opportunity
to suspend play and/or warn the players and spectators
before the dangerous weather arrives.
We are contemplating purchasing our own Thor Guard equipment
for our on site use at our smaller tournaments where we do
not have the weather team on site.
